As a member of the Rochester Workers’ Center, you can:
Learn about your legal rights in our workshops and meetings
Join forces to demand livable wages, safe working conditions, and respect on the job
Develop strategies to fight against wage theft, racial discrimination, and sexual harassment in the workplace
Consult privately with a labor law attorney as needed, free of charge
Learn what worker centers in other cities have achieved, and how they achieved it
Participate in a democratically-run membership organization that’s dedicated to economic justice, racial equality, gender equity, and the rights of LGBTQ and immigrant workers.

Have access to the center’s Advisory Panel - a group of professionals in the areas of labor law, health and safety, communications, and community organizing who have volunteered to share their expertise with members of the Rochester Worker Center.
Am I eligible to join?
Applications for membership are available to any wage worker in the greater Rochester area except those who hold managerial positions. When questions of eligibility arise, the democratically-elected Leadership Team will determine eligibility.
How do I join?
To join the Rochester Workers’ Center, individuals must attend one of our meetings or workshops and submit a completed membership application to the Leadership Team for approval. Membership applications are currently available in paper form. Use the form below to contact us.
What are the membership dues?
Dues are $5 a month and may be paid monthly or annually. Scholarships are available.
